5 Feng Shui Tips For Improving Your Well-Being And Health

There are numerous Feng shui tips that can help to improve your well-being and health. That saying “health is wealth” probably originated with the feng shui masters from ancient times. It can’t be overstated how important vibrant health is because if you don’t have good health not much else really matters. There’s a direct relationship in feng shui between the quality of energy that your office and home have and your health.

From a feng shui standpoint, what is the state of your environment’s health? What about your bedroom? How is the air quality in your place of business or home?

Many businesses and homes suffer from stagnant and low feng shui energy. There are studies that show that numerous businesses and homes are below the energy level needed to maintain good health for the individuals who work or live there.

Let’s take a look at some of the simple and basic feng shui tips. They can help with improving your health and provide you with joyful well-being and overall happiness.

Tip No. 1: Be Aware Of What You Are Breathing In

The problem of outdoor air pollution is very well known. However, not many people know that indoor air pollution is a lot worse than it is outdoors. Unless you’re living or working in a truly environmentally friendly and green building, you need to constantly work on air quality in your space. If you fail to take care of it, no feng shui health cures are going to help, since air quality is the number one priority of feng shui for your health.

Air purifying plants are the easiest and most effective way of taking care of your office or home’s air quality while still improving the feng shui energy substantially. These plants can easily be found in a flower shop. Get as many as you can for your space. Have one or two tall and big plants like an Areca palm.

Tip No. 2: Use Color And Light

The quality and color its main expression) of natural light are both essential nutrients for your well-being and health. It isn’t just how much natural light you get throughout the day, it also involves the presence of beautiful, vibrant colors that nourish your energy.

When you spend lots of time indoors, make sure you invest in full spectrum lights for nourishing your energy. In addition, be sure to have vibrant art inside your office or home- make it joyful and happy with alive, fresh colors. Whether it’s fresh flower or a wall color, just be aware that your energy is greatly strengthened by light and color being present.

Tip No. 3: Feng Shui In Your Health Area

When it comes to feng shui, every office or home has specific areas (defined by a feng shui energy map or bag) that are responsible for various aspects of your life. Of course, your health depends on the whole space’s overall energy space. However, two areas are connected at a much deeper energy level to your well-being’s state.

The first is your office or home’s center, while the second is the Health and Family Bagua area. Numerous feng shui cures are available, both modern and traditional, that can be used for improving your health, ranging from the simple use of Water and Wood element colors like black, blue, green and brown to using lucky bamboo or a Laughing Buddha sculpture.

Tip No. 4: Create Spa Energy Inside Your Bathroom

Feng-shui wise, your feel of well-being is connected intricately to your bathroom’s quality of energy. You have no doubt heard how bathrooms can be very challenging from a feng shui perspective, making it even more important to consistently and diligently apply great feng shui to the room.

It isn’t hard to provide your bathroom with a spa feel to it, but you need to start out with a clutter free and very clean foundation first. After you have accomplished that, next bring in some art that will please your senses, in addition to a few candles along with an aromatherapy diffuser so that you can start to enjoy very good feng shui inside your bathroom.

Tip No. 5: Incorporate Feng Shui Inside Your Bedroom

We spend a lot of our time in the bedroom (around 1/3 of our entire lives), so you definitely need to concentrate on your bedroom having good energy. It’s vital for your well-being in addition to the quality and health of your intimate relationship. After consulting for years, in my experience, I can definitely say that a majority of bedrooms have the very sad energy (despite having a nice appearance).

Having great feng shui inside your bedroom is a simple application while being complex at the same time. It also takes consistent effort. It needs to become second nature. You need to take certain steps, such as allowing natural light into the room during the day, not storing things under the bed, maintaining good air flow, keeping your closets organized and clean and so forth. It may appear to be a lot of hard work, however, trust me these things can be quite enjoyable.

After you feel and know what a big difference those steps can make to improve your good-being, you’ll love taking these steps on a daily basis to refresh your bedroom’s energy. 6 Feng Shui Tips to bring Peace, Health and Wealth to your Home

Feng Shui is the oriental practice of positioning objects in a home, office or mausoleum to ensure optimal alignment with the unseen spiritual and energetic forces that surround us. Make your home a haven of nourishment for your mind, body and spirit by practicing these six tips to enhance the feng shui of your living environment.

1. Remove your Shoes
Removing your shoes before entering your home is an important ritual to ensure that the stress of the outside world does not enter the home.
This is a purposeful method of creating a haven of peaceful energy within; if you like to place an ornate trunk or shoe rack just outside the entrance. The act of pausing to remove your shoes is symbolic of cleansing the heart and mind of the filth and troubles of an outside world.

2. Keep Your environment Clear of Clutter
Clutter and disorganization bring a disturbance to your flow. Rampant disorganization can exaggerate any minor stress you may encounter. Think of how you feel if you are late and canít find your keys, important papers or cell phone.

Disorder creates confusion and clouds your clear perception of the present moment. Be sure your bedroom, workspace, and closets are clean and organized. Beginning the day with serenity will make you stronger to face the world. Perhaps the best antidote to stress is a well-appointed life in a well-maintained living environment.

3. Let the Mighty Serenity of the Natural World Fill your Home

Let the abundant force of nature’s light, fresh air, and lush vegetation fill you and your surroundings. Open your doors and windows to invite the energy in. As the sun goes down, avoid the glaring electric lights for an hour before bed; allow your body to naturally slip into the cover of night.

Use soft lights and candles in your bathrooms and install dimmer switches in the bedrooms, hallways, and any room you will spend a lot of time in. For greater harmony and life-bringing oxygen have a selection of healthy greenery around your home. Avoid plants that look dead or droopy; they only sap the positive energies revive them outside if you can.

4. Create a Soothing Sleeping Environment and Restful Habits

You will sleep better if you create an environment that is more conducive to rest. Choose the room away from the outside street. The positioning of your bed must be considered too; for optimal relaxation, the best place for your bed would be in the back corner of the bedroom, diagonally opposite the entrance.

This spot is ideal; with your back to the solid wall you have a commanding view of the room and door and are also protected from fast moving energy flows entering your space. Avoid watching TV before bed, the flashing lights, evanescent figures, and negative situations can reach your positive energy. Violence and fear can slip into your subconscious and give troubled dreams.

5. Choose your Colors with Purpose
Choose colors that calm the mind and stimulate relaxation. Choose soothing greens, blues, peaches and lavender tones for your walls, rugs, artwork, and bedding. Ask yourself what color makes you feel happy, serene, warm or loved then find the best place in your home for that feeling.

Soft neutral tones have an amazing calming effect; choose some candles with these soft tones and enhance the colors in your home. Intuition is the best master here.

6. Be mindful of the Sounds filling Your Home

Create a calming environment by playing a compilation of natural sounds. The sounds of waves gently lapping on the rocks, songbirds or even the rustling of leaves in the wind can naturally soothe your soul and reduce your heart rate considerably.

Be sure you select a recording of natural sounds and not electronically generated noise. This is food for your soul; the life-force energy of nature is for the healing of your mind and body and only 100 percent natural is healthy food.

Only when your world is calm and your mind is quiet will you be still enough to hear the guidance of your soul. It is imperative for your spiritís health that you work to create the surroundings that invite you to sit stop trying to be and just be. When this is done you will have created an energizing environment to nourish your soul a piece of paradise in your four walls; the perfect place to begin to build toward your life goals.

7 Feng shui Health Cures

Most of us consider our homes to be our sanctuaries, places where we can escape the outside world. After working hard all day, we want to be able to come home, recharge our batteries and just relax. Whenever you walk into your house, you hopefully receive a calming and relaxed sense. For some people, it is, unfortunately, the opposite: they get an anxious and stressful feeling. For those in the second category who come home to face a stress environment (after working in a stressful workplace all day), it can really take its toll on your overall health. So is it possible to provide our home with a sense of calm without spending a fortune on a housekeeper, nanny, and complete renovation?

Improving your wellness and health can start in your home with some help from Feng Shui principles. You might be saying to yourself, my house is well beyond Feng Shui – what it really needs is a good carpet bombing. Listen to me. I am very confident that if you follow at least three points below that it will greatly improve your overall well-being. It certainly can’t hurt for you to try. Even when you spend some time making note of the state of your house and your surroundings, you will be making progress.

The points below are based on the philosophy of Feng Shui along with just plain old common sense. Some of the following points are specific Feng Shui remedies, while others are principles of Feng Shui that you can universally apply and some that involve you to do some work.

Clear Out The Junk

I won’t dwell on this for a long time because I have covered this subject quite extensively already. However, in order to bring good things into your life, you’re going to have to get rid of all that junk filling your entryways, counter tops, spare rooms and hallways. If after reading this you are thinking, yes but I like things this way and I know where to find everything. Really, are you serious? Please sit down. I know that you know that changes are necessary. Change is hard, so I understand. If this point is the only one you complete, this will be a monumental change for you.

The Elements

This is an important Feng Shui principle. Wood and earth are elements that are associated with health. When you add these elements, it will jump start your road to improved health. Every element is represented with a certain material, shape, and color. For example, the wood element is represented by all shades of green, things made out of wood like plants and wood floors, and columnar shapes (tall and skinny) such as a tree. Keep in mind, it isn’t always better to have too much of one specific thing. All five elements should be represented in a space. The wood element can be accentuated for health. It will bring about vibrancy and new growth. I will discuss the earth element in the following points.

Being Centered

Another Feng Shui principle is the idea that the most important area in your home is the center. That it represents health as well makes perfect sense. The center unifies and grounds all of the other areas. It is like when your health is suffering, everything else that is a part of your life has a tendency to suffer as well. When you use a Bagua Map (Feng Shui tool), your house is divided up into nine sections. The center area is the easiest to find. That’s where you need to focus all of your energies in order to improve your health. Here are the things that you need to do: remove any clutter, add an earth element, clear out any negative objects.

Get Grounded

The earth element is associated with your home’s center, and therefore health also. It is represented by brown and yellow colors, square shapes and things that are derived from the earth, such as clay or stone. A good way of combining the wood and earth elements is to place a vase full of yellow flowers in your home’s center. Or you can put them on your kitchen counter if the first option isn’t possible. When you use the earth element, it increases stability in your life and helps you to feel more centered and connected. This will help to alleviate some of your stress and improve your overall health.

Increasing you’re Personal Chi

Start doing yoga. Many of you might practice it already. chi flow through all living things, including around your home and in nature. When you do pranayama exercises and yoga, you move prana/chi throughout your body and release blocks. If you happen to practice yoga, you’ll understand it when I say you can feel the energy pulsing and flowing whenever you lie still in a state of savasana. You can also feel the overwhelming power of chi in us tr asana camel and similar poses.

Change Your Sheets

There’s a basic Feng Shui cure that you can do to improve your health. That is changing your bedsheets to green or yellow from white. It certainly can’t do any harm to change the color of your sheet. Anyway, that gives you a good excuse to visit Crate and Barrel and do some shopping.

Add Plants

This was previously mentioned in a point earlier. Plants represent the element of wood and further enhance health. However, you need to be sure you have the right plant for a specific job. You don’t want to have spiky plants inside your bedroom. However, cacti work really well situated next to a computer to help reduce EMF emissions. Plants with round leaves, like the rubber plant, are soothing. Large, leafy plants such as a ficus revive chi and help to fill stagnant corners.

Good health and good luck. If you make a couple of changes, it will give a jump start and you will want to do even more. However, start with the small things and be passionate and committed to improving your well-being and health.
